BLUE & GOLD BANQUET
The Blue & Gold Banquet is traditionally held to celebrate the anniversary of Scouting or the anniversary of the Pack. It gets its name from the colors of Cub Scouting - blue and gold. Pack 150 usually holds its Blue and Gold banquet every May and makes it unique to our pack by celebrating the accomplishments of our Cub Scouts with a bridging ceremony to the next rank. It serves as a Cub Scout 'graduation' to the next rank and lets our Cub Scouts know just how proud we are of their advancement.
In addition to the bridging ceremony, each family brings a covered dish and there's a cake contest for everyone to participate in. It's a lot of fun and a great opportunity for fellowship with other Cub Scout families!
